This clip-in braid is, just like all our clip-ins, made of 100% Indian Human Hair. The clip-in braid is a narrow, full clip that you easily clip into your hair for braiding.
The braid has an extra double drawn quality, which means that there are almost no shorter hairs incorporated into it. This gives the weft beautiful full ends which helps in creating a beautiful full braid from roots to ends. The hair structure is natural straight which means it might get a slight wave after washing.

Braids in 2 lengths and 5 colors
Of course we have the perfect braid to suit your needs and hair. The clip-in braids are 3 cm (1″) wide and have a length of 50 cm (20″) or 60 cm (24″). The weft is usually placed at the front of the head and braided into your own hair, making the hair a little shorter than the actual hair length. Do you want a very long braid? Go for the 60cm (24″) braid. Do you prefer a shorter length? The 50cm (20″) will make your wishes come true.

Big hair is never out of fashion! This is something that Lily Collins, Adele and ofcourse Ariana Grande (and many many many more) proof. They bring back the BIG ponytail from the 60’s without any effort. This look is a little bit difficult to make with your clip in set, or volumizer. Cause, how do you make sure that you wont see any clips with this hairdo, and how do you get that full glam ponytail? Sit back and relax, cause in this blog we explain everything you need to know about the ponytail step by step:).
What is a ponytail?
The Zascha Hair ponytail is a full 100 gram tail and is 50cm long. On this tail is a slider with coarse legs. This ensures that the ponytail can’t move anywhere and stays in its place. The ponytail also has a loose strip of hair as a finishing touch. This sounds a bit harsh when read like this, but of course we will tell you further on in the blog what you can do with this. The ponytail is suitable for all hair types. However, there are some differences in terms of attestment. This is also something that you will read further on in the blog😊
Like our clip in extensions, the ponytail is made from 100% human hair and is double drawn. This means that the tail is full from root to tip. Because the ponytail is made of 100% human hair you can consider it as your own hair. You can style it, curl it, wash it, and even dye it darker. We strongly advise not to dye the hair lighter because of the dyeing process the hair has already had. The roots of the ponytail is finished with high quality lace, and an iron slide with coarse teeth for lots of hold in your own hair without damaging it. The top edge of the ponytail is finished with velcro. Super convenient, so you can adjust the tail to different thicknesses of hair! We also use multi-tone colouring, which ensures a nice match with your own hair colour, even if it differs slightly from the extensions.
Here we go. You’re all set, you’ve styled the ponytail to your desire, and you’re ready to use it. What do you need: A Zascha Hair ponytail (dáh) some sliders and rubber bands, preferably not plastic, and the product that gives you strength in your hair. Have no idea what product to use for this? Here is the tip of the day!
Using it is relatively simple, just like the clip ins, you just need to get the hang of it. Whatever hair type you have, it is important that you make sure you have a good firm tail of yourself. You can get this in different ways:
1 You can apply foam in your hair and blow dry it well. 2 You can tease the roots of your hair. 3 You can use volume powder. 4 You can use multiple rubber bands (no more than 3)
It all depends on how you feel about your hair type. After this you can style your tail as you like so it will fit nicely into the structure of your ponytail. When you are completely satisfied with your tail and its strength, you can start attaching the ponytail.

Step1 Unfold the ponytail, and slide the teeth of the pin between your scalp and the elastic. Make sure the teeth are all the way in. Step 2 Next, form the Velcro tightly around your tail. Step 3 Wrap the loose end around your tail. This loose tuft can be well fixed by one or two slides that you can push / slide under the tail. Step 4 All you have to do now is check if everything is to your liking and finish off with some hairspray if necessary.
Full/much hair
Do you have a lot of thick hair or would you like to make a high ponytail? Then you can make two tails underneath each other and put the ponytail on the top tail. This will prevent your own hair from coming through the ponytail and will disguise the thickness of your own hair. This is useful when the ponytail is used mainly as an extension! Taking care of
Swimming in salt water with your extensions in? Is that possible? We ask Loraine, Loraine works part-time for Zascha and has been wearing Zascha hair for years! “Yes, no problem. Trust me, I’ve done it so many times. But of course it can shorten the life of your extensions if you don’t take good care of them afterwards!“

“It is very important that you wash/rinse your extensions well after swimming in salt water. Before washing them, take each weft separately and rinse the roots with the clips well with only water under the tap. After rinsing, pat them thoroughly with a towel. Once you have rinsed and dried all the wefts individually, carefully comb them through and then stack them together with all the clips on the same side. When you have done this, roll up the wefts neatly and tie them with a rubber band just below the clips. You have now, as it were, made a tail out of your wefts. ”
“Take your hair and gently wet it. This can be done while showering or at the sink. Wherever you do it, make sure the roots and clips stay dry. Take a good intensive nourishing shampoo and massage it into the hair. Massage the shampoo all over the hair not just the outside. Then rinse the shampoo well. ”

”Now massage a good nourishing conditioner into the hair and leave it on for a minute or 2. Then rinse it well untill there is no foam or conditioner left. While the hair is still wet, loosen the rubber band and separate the wefts. Pat them dry 1 by 1 with a towel. Do not rub! And then hang them to dry in your Easiweft. ”
TIP: If you don’t have easy weft, place a towel over your radiator and hang the wefts over it to dry. It is best to do this just before going to sleep so that your extensions can dry overnight and you do not need a hair dryer. When completely dry you comb your extensions well and you can use and style them again as before!
Swimming in chlorine with your extensions?
Of course it is nice to hear that Loraine can do everything with her extensions, but keep in mind that your extensions are made of 100% human hair and are therefore just as fragile as your own hair! Therefore keep in mind; Salt spray? fun! A chlorine spray? Hell no!
Chlorine often only causes damage and especially in combination with sun and an SPF it can be very harmful to your extensions.

Long story short, you can swim with your extensions in. Although we do not recommend it at Zascha. If you do, like Loraine, make sure you take good care of them afterwards!
TIP:Keep in mind that you give your hair some extra attention in the summer. Not only your skin has a hard time during the warm summer months! Therefore, provide good protection with SPF for your hair. Below we have made a selection of good care sprays that do not unnecessarily weigh down your hair and protect against UV radiation.
How to: Luscious beachy waves!
First, the essentials! You need a curling iron of at least 25 mm! Heat the iron and comb your hair well in the meantime. A nice method is to work in three sections. You make the first section by parting halfway down your ear and securing the rest of your hair to your head with a clip. You now start by twisting about 4cm of plucking around your curling iron. Work alternately. You turn one section forwards, the next section you turn backwards. Never turn the section all the way to the end, but leave 1 turn at the end each time. This gives the best result.
When you have curled the entire first section, gently spray a little bit of hairspray over it from a distance of 12 inches/ 30cm. Not too much and not too close! Now part your ear above your ear and repeat the process. This also applies to your third and final section.

Now part it depending on how you want to wear your hair. First make an extra part to the left of this division and place some volume powder here along the roots. For extra volume you can backcomb the hair just a little bit. Repeat this on the right side of your part. Now gently run your fingers through your hair to pull the waves apart. As a finishing touch, you can add a salt spray that will give your hair that real “ Just got out of the ocean ”Look (Rituals has a good one and it smells delicious, shop here )! Now you are all set and ready to enjoy your luscious beachy waves!

Do you (suddenly) have thin hair? You are not alone! It is a known issue for many women. But why is this, where does it come from? The thickness of your hair is generally genetically determined. So does your mom or dad have thin hair? Chances are you’ve got it too (thanks mom and dad). It could also be that your thin strands are due to poor nutrition, combing wet hair, and blow drying and styling without heat protection. Other reasons could be due to stress, illness, poor sleep or medication (or a combination). Is this a bad thing? You clip your long hair in and out easily. How perfect is that?
What’s great about the Zascha extensions is that the clips are super strong and stable. They have a silicone strip to secure the weft well so they won’t fall out. All you have to do is open and close the clips.

Okay, almost. But hey, clipping in your hair is really easy! You just need to know how. You’ll need: Your full set of clip-in extensions and a mirror. Additionally, a hair clip and soft brush are also very useful! Let’s get started!
1. Brush and part your own hair.
Start by brushing your own hair well with a soft brush. Preferably use a TangleTeezer®. This brush, used by professionals, can be used on dry and wet hair and prevents hair breakage. Then make a straight horizontal part at the nape of your neck and clip the rest of your hair up with a hair clip.

For extra hold you can backcomb the hair at the roots and spray some hairspray on top or use some volume powder. This is not always necessary, but can give just a little more grip for smoother / finer hair. Use a teasing brush for backcombing.
2. Start with the 3-clip wefts
Now take the 3-clip weft with 3. Brush it well before putting it in your hair. Start at the ends of the hair and work your way up carefully. You can gently pull apart any tangles with your fingers. Then, you find the center of your hair and clip the middle clip into the roots of your hair.

3. Apply de 4-clip and 5-clip weft (if included in your set)
Part your hair from ear to ear right above your second clipped weft and secure the rest of your hair with a hair clip. The set contains one 4-clip weft of 20cm (8″) wide. Again, this is placed as close to the roots as possible. Do you have a set for thick hair? Then you have an extra weft of 25cm (10″) wide!

If that’s the case, make a horizontal part about 5cm below the crown of your head and clip away the rest of your hair. Take the 5-clip weft of 25cm(10″) and clip it in like you did the previous wefts. Now all the wider wefts are clipped in on the back of your head and only the narrow ones are left.
4. Place the narrow 2 and 1-clip wefts.
The set includes two 2-clip wefts and two 1-clip wefts. These narrow wefts add volume to the sides and ensure that everything blends together nicely. Part the hair horizontally on the side of your head about 2cm (1″) above your ear and clip the rest of your hair away with a hair clip. Take the 2-clip weft and clip it in.

Then you divide a part of your hair above the 2-clip weft and clip away the rest of your hair. Brush the 1-clip weft and clip it in as close to the roots as possible above the 2-clip weft. Repeat this on the other side of your head. Brush your hair and check in the mirror if all wefts are invisible, especially at the back.
And you’re ready!

Finally, you’re doing it. Many days (and maybe even nights) you have been thinking about them, had some doubts, pushed the idea away, or maybe you’ve even saved for them! But today, you are going to take the first step towards your own, brand new, extensions from Zascha Hair. We, the Zascha Hair girls, understand very well that if you have never had hair extensions before, it is a pretty big deal to order them for the first time. Especially because they’re quite the expense. Fortunately, there are many ways to find out which set and color is the perfect match for you!
First of all, we are happy to help, to see which color is perfect for you! We want you to be 100% satisfied with your Zascha hair extensions. We don’t settle for less!

For this we need some good hair photos, so that we can properly assess which color is your match. We prefer to receive 2 to 3 photos from different angles of your hair. Here are some tips:

Try to avoid direct sunlight. This causes overexposure of light in your hair and makes it very difficult to assess the color. The same goes for shadows. This causes underexposure, see example. Photos with filters also cause an unrealistic representation. Unfortunately, we cannot give appropriate advice based on photos with above mentioned issues.

Don’t worry about how you look in the pictures. Only the Zascha team will see them. We won’t do anything with the photos afterwards. Sending us photos is without obligation of course and advice is always free.
What you SHOULD do.
We prefer photos taken in daylight. Make sure that the person taking the photo never shoots into the light. It is also important for us to see all of your hair, from roots to ends. This is because we want to assess the color gradient. Plus, this also helps to determine the desired amount of grams.

Make sure your hair is clean. Oily hair looks darker. Brush your hair well and wear it down. Take photos from different angles so that we can see which set suits you best!
Color advice Ponytail
If you wish to purchase a ponytail, it is important that we have a good photo of the roots of your hair. Preferably with your hair in a ponytail. This way we can see which ponytail will match nicely.
Still have doubts?
If you still have some doubts after the color advice, we also provide the option to order samples. We send these samples in a small package so they fit through the mailbox. This way you don’t have to stay home to accept your parcel. Of course you can return the sample afterwards. The total amount of the sample will be refunded to your account.

Want to order without a sample? A tester weft is included with each set. This is packed separately and can be taken out to see if the color and structure of the hair are a good match for you.
